Starlight Illuminating the Fault Lines: Local Wisdom and Postcolonial Resonance at Critical Junctures

As an art worker, Yining He’s recent work has particularly focused on how the generation of artists who grew up after China’s Reform and Opening-up draws upon Chinese intellectual history and indigenous knowledge to participate in global postcolonial dialogues, exploring the pivotal role of personal experience in cultural reconstruction. She will trace her own journey—from the cultural displacement and challenges encountered during her studies in the UK starting in 2008, to curating research-based exhibitions such as “Memory Dwellings,” “Ports and Images,” and “Geomantic Survey”; from co-founding the Decolonial Being Network to initiating the “Starlight” publishing project—demonstrating how artistic practice can mend historical ruptures, reconnect indigenous knowledge systems within the context of globalization, and create pluralistic dialogic spaces for contemporary cultural identity construction.
星辉照耀断层：临界点上的本土智慧与后殖民共振
作为艺术工作者，何伊宁近年来的工作格外关注改革开放后成长起来的艺术家代际如何调用中国思想史与本土知识参与全球后殖民对话，探索个人经验在文化重构中的关键作用。 她将通过回溯自身经历——从2008年往返英国求学中遭遇的文化错位与困境，到策划“记忆寓所”、“港口与影像”、“相地堪舆”等研究型展览；从联合创办Decolonial Being Network到发起“星辉”出版项目——展示如何借助艺术工作修补历史断裂，在全球化语境中重新连接本土知识体系，为当代文化身份构建多元对话空间。
